FAQ
How long will it take to receive final images?
I'll be hard at work editing your photos and they will be delivered via an online gallery within three weeks of your session (turnaround for weddings is up to 7 weeks). Turnaround times in off seasons will be slightly faster.
How many images will I receive?
The number varies by session, but I can assure you it will be a large gallery of edited images. I have never been able to put a limit on the number of images per session because I just can't help myself! I want to tell your full story.
Do you do extensive photoshop edits?
I will edit your photos for color and style as I see fit, and I may remove a blemish or cut here and there. I also will remove people from the background if that is needed. But I will not alter anyone's body, remove wrinkles, or do any other kind of extensive editing unless specifically asked. I will charge an additional editing fee in that case, as it is not part of my usual process.
What should we wear?
The clothing that you wear can be the difference between good photos and fantastic photos so I'm here to help you select amazing outfits for your family. You'll receive a styling guide after booking. I'm currently growing my client closet and have a small selection of dresses to borrow.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You have access to professional printers through your gallery, but you are welcome to use a print shop of your choice. The digital photos are yours.
What happens if it rains?
We will discuss it and make a plan together. The weather here in Wisconsin is very unpredictable, so I don't like to make a final decision until the night before or even the day of. I am happy to reschedule if it looks like rain, but if your family is up for stomping in puddles and carrying clear umbrellas, then so am! We will never put ourselves in a situation where we could be in danger and I will not risk damaging my camera equipment.
